You are so right. I have yet to see parents highlighted in the media for protecting their trans-identified children, other than one or two on Fox News. Anytime you see parents in most mainstream media, they claim they "have to flee their state to get medical care" for their "trans" child, yet you see nothing of the many parents who have left their state to protect their children from being removed from their home because the parents didn't want their children medicalized, as we have seen with parents in Washington, California and Oregon. Part of the issue may be that parents of trans-identified kids who want to protect their children typically stay quiet out of concern for their child's privacy, or for the relationship with their child, whose desires are opposite to the parents' concern. But even the parents whose children, tragically, are deceased, so they no longer have to stay quiet, are not highlighted on national TV. I would like to see much more coverage of heroic parents like Abigail Martinez of California, who tried valiantly to save her daughter from the predatory gender industry.

"EyesOpen" indeed!

This piece brings it all home. Here are just some of the Quotes I loved:

Quote #1: "BELIEVING IN BIOLOGY IS NOT BIGOTRY".

Quote #2: "The [trans-affirming] parent wants to appear “progressive” in their social circles, which they can achieve by saying they have a “trans” child. And some parents who fully medicalized their child years ago are deeply committed to “trans” advocacy because they cannot bear to consider or acknowledge that they may have harmed their child".

Quote #3: "If kids discover the true cause of their distress and address the underlying issues, the trans-industrial complex will lose its customer base and **cease profiting** off our vulnerable kids and young adults".

We will be fighting the "transmafia" again here in NYC schools....March 19th, 2025 (a WEDNESDAY) at 6pm at Public School 183, which is at 419 EAST 66th Street in Manhattan. Last month, over 100 transactivists showed up to protest the passing of common-sense Resolution 248, which would just allow for the RESEARCH into the impact of having biological males play on girls' school sports teams.

The transmafia does NOT even want the RESEARCH to happen.

If my kid wanted a tattoo, I would say no. It is illegal for a tattoo artist to give a tattoo to anyone under 18 even if their parent wants them to. This is like 100,000% more scarring and permanent than a tattoo, and yet we're supposed to let the kid decide and let the clinic (that makes their $$$ on transing kids) tell us what to do and call us names if we disagree. I can't believe this is happening and that it has gone on so long.

Thank you for your informative article. I agree with what you have said.

If the word "trans" was removed from what is being done to children and young adults the people doing it would be considered criminals, including some parents who enjoy the attention of have a "trans" child. I live in Ontario, Canada, and there is a law that says if parents/guardians refuse to transition their child the government can take the child and transition them. How wrong is that!

Again, thank you for our article.

It is hard to believe that the Canadian government or any government would take a child away from their parents to transition them.

Thank you for writing this thoughtful analysis. This topic is fraught with hysteria and hyperbole - on the pro-trans ideology side- so it is refreshing to read a level-headed rebuttal from the "other side".

The trans activists tendency to label the refusal to celebrate trans and concerns about long term health as "genocide" is beyond evil.

What is genocide? Let us ask The United Nations (un.org) how they define it:

Killing members of the group:

Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;

Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

How does honest concern equate genocide? Is the "resistance to allowing a child to transition to an authentic self" even remotely the same as any of the above? One can only find the vague parallels when considering this definition with a very prejudiced mind and a "jaundiced eye".

Hmm... I might be skating on very thin ice here... but at least 3 of these may apply to the tactics of Gender Affirmative care but I do not want to widen the chasm between the trans kids and their

"trans critical" parents even further than it already is. After all, one always wants to protect and maintain the road back to the family.

We need to stop using their made up word, "trans". It has us on their playing field and allows for questioning biological reality.

They are "activists" in the same way brownshirts were activists, and Kristallnacht was an activist demonstration. My personal favorite is the Transtapo but that's likely too far for public consumption. Thugs wearing woman-face would be the most accurate as they are overwhelming guys who are still in possession of their penis, way too much fun to give that up. But also likely a no go. "Activists" gives them a degree of normalcy and acceptance.

What words are used is extremely important, and who gets to choose the words.

Humpty Dumpty clearly laid out the situation.

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said ... “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”

 “The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

 “The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master—that's all.”

Being master of what words to use is a huge advantage. Right now they are winning that battle.
